Himachal Christmas: Tourists are disappointed due to lack of snowfall on the occasion of Christmas in Shimla, Himachal Pradesh. Every year on the occasion of Christmas and New Year, a large number of tourists reach Shimla to enjoy the snowfall. The Meteorological Department has predicted that there will be no snowfall in Shimla this week. However, the Shimla-based Meteorological Center has informed that on December 26, due to Western Disturbance, there may be snowfall in the higher reaches of Kullu, Chamba, Lahaul-Spiti and Kinnaur districts of the state.
The Meteorological Department has informed that cold wave conditions were observed in Una, Bilaspur and Hamirpur districts during the last 24 hours. It was told that there is no possibility of snowfall at the tourist places of the state during Christmas. Let us tell you that in most parts of Himachal, a drop in the night temperature has been registered.

Kukumseri in Himachal’s Lahaul-Spiti district recorded a minimum night temperature of minus 7.9 degrees Celsius. Whereas, Keylong recorded minus 6.4 degree Celsius, Kalpa minus 4.6 degree Celsius, Kullu’s Manali minus 1.5 degree Celsius, Shimla’s Narkanda minus 2.2 degree Celsius and Kinnaur’s Reckong Peo minus 1.3 degree Celsius. were recorded. Apart from this, 0.8 degree Celsius was recorded in Dalhousie of Chamba, 5.0 degree Celsius in Dharamshala, minus 1.8 degree Celsius in Kufri and 1.0 degree Celsius in Shimla.

Tourists are buying winter clothes in Himachal and they are disappointed after not seeing snowfall. Amol, a tourist who came to Shimla from Pune on Christmas, said he was expecting snowfall. He said, “We were expecting snowfall but I don’t think there will be any snowfall here in Shimla.”
Another tourist Vishal said the temperature is dropping in the city and he is expecting snowfall on December 25. We are expecting snowfall here on December 25 so that tourists can enjoy it.
